- Can you give the au pair an own room at her/his disposal?
- Are you ready to take up one young adult as an equally good family member in the frame of a cultural exchange for maximum one year?
- Can any person any time take over the au pair´s duties if necessary?
- Will your au pair have time enough to take part in a language course?

The au pair´s stay is not equal to a regular employment. However EU citiziens may come in the Netherlands also as employees in the frame of an activity. In such a case they have the right for a minimum salary, but they cannot take part in an au pair programme.
